Whatever happened to the Ryze Visual Update?

With the zombie and slayer skin release video I noticed that Zombie Ryze was missing. Of course he was because his skin hasn't been updated to match the current benchmark but wasn't Ryze suppose to to have a VU along side his gameplay update months ago? But due to some "unforeseen issues" they decided to pull back on the visual update and not hold back on the gameplay one.

Are there still "issues" that need to be resolved? Any estimate where on the priority list Ryze currently sits for updates?

He will get one eventually

If I remember correctly, the issues regarding Ryze's visusl update were on the vein of resource allocation.

Since his rework is done by now, we will probably need to wait a while before his update, as he is ugly, but not to the degree of more urgent cases (Nunu, Morde, Jax).
