Part of Swains appeal is having a bird friend on the battlefield. Spooky fiddlesticks-esque particles on his passive doesn't suffice.
Janna can have Zephyr flying around her, Lulu has Pix, Lamb has Wolf, Star Guardian Jinx has Shiro and Kuro, but Swain can't keep Beatrice flying around him?
This rework is really disappointing. The most interesting things about Swain, were the ideas of his creepy pet bird, and his ability to turn into a monstrous raven, that was really, really cool and unique.
Now Swain is mosly like Vladimir and Evelynn in his concept. Nothing unique really, just another demon weirdo.
In fact, whoever redesigned Swain, must have been obsessed with Harry Potter, because....:
He looks like Lucius Malfoy. Even dresses like him. He also has a metal hand, just like Wormtail....coincidence? I think not. His lame new voice even sounds something like Alan Rickmann....
You know, those of us who loved Swain, loved him because of his unique and cool bird personae. We really didn't want him to become a Vladimir demon, or a Harry Potter personality. We just would have enjoyed seeing some graphic updates, keeping the same cool Swain themes.
We didn't really want a lame deatheater.
Riot, could you rethink this rework? And bring back the cool champion that used to be Swain?
She's in his joke, his recall and when he ults.
I guess that Beatrice might be now a background character. Some great demon that granted Swain his powers.
