I love his current voice (come on its GOHAN) and the new guy sounds good too but his current voice is nostalgic for a lot of people and doesnt even sound bad it just might need some line changes. On god help me OUT RIOT
I get you're in love with nostalgia, but the new voice is just fine. Plus, voice actors can choose to decline requests if the pay isn't enough, or if they have union policies, or if simply they may not want to do it anymore. You don't know why they didn't use the former Ezreal actor, but they did state they try to request the same actor a while ago unless some other circumstance gets in the way.

Like N1C said, its too late at this point. The update hits the PBE today and they aleady recorded the audio quite some time ago.
