Maybe the Black Rose are in cahoots with Mordekaiser?

They ARE secretive, masters of dark magic, seekers of immortality and are set up in his old stronghold!

Food for though.

Plot twist: LeBlanc is secretly one of Mordekaiser's liches.

I was thinking something along those lines, too! She's not a "living corpse", but I bet there could be a connection, at least. Maybe the body-switching-thing is her way around the whole rot-thing.

Potentially. It's implied that Runeterran liches work via having a physical body to stay in rather than a phylactery, so body-snatching might be what they do to keep themselves anchored to the physical world.

I did not forget that; that is the body-swtiching-thing I spoke of.

It would make sense I guess since Swain did have the knowledge to resurrect Sion.

Cahoots probably not, but if they sprung up from the remains of his empire, and secret lore contained within the immortal bastion. well it wouldn't be a surprise.
