I expect that the next roadmap is in sep 30/oct 1 which means NUNU VGU HYPE!!

I'm praying all day and night that nunu should be the next candidate to receive the VGU treatment after Swain because he needs it so badly.

Not possible candidate to receive a vgu after swain: Note: We have to remember the "No back-to-back champion in the same role/position/faction/lane to be updated" rule so a TOP Laner/Midlaner is excluded. Making champs in those position are not viable as a candidate. And a noxus champ too to be excluded. And by that, the next candidate opens up to the supp, jungle or ADC role and all factions besides noxus.

1.Pantheon - yes he really needs a vgu and i can't wait for it too but i think pantheon is not the next one considering he is a top laner. But i think he is the next one after the VGU after swain. ( Ex. swain->nunu->pant). And i think we could see him vgu'd next year too.

2.Irelia - like how i said about pantheon, maybe the next one after the VGU after swain. ( Ex. swain->nunu->pant). and lets stop ionia faction for a while cause its too overrated.

3.Mordekaiser - like how i said about pantheon and Irelia

4.Akali - no back to back mid so no akali for next candidate

5.DrMundo - no zaun related theme for awhile said by rioters and he's a top laner too..

6.Chogath - just got a mini rework and its still viable in the meta.

Possible candidate to receive a vgu after swain:

1.Nunu - the in need of a rework plus he is the overall package of a VGU overhaul. He is also a jungle/support making him a possible candidate.

2.Corki - a forgotten adc that needs an update. Maybe the herald of bandle city( but i think the herald will be a new champ/ the satan lord itself)

I thought Nunu would be the next VGU too, but I'm not so sure anymore considering the new Immortal Journey skins which seem to be so similar to the telekinetic blade theme, as well as Reav3's comments surrounding Irelia which potentially hint they're already working on her or at least have done some investigation into the details of her future VGU.

Swain is considered both mid and top. So I don't think Swain being accepted as toplaner by players would affect next one, as Galio was in similar case and it wasn't a problem for Urgot.

Btw, I like how you deny Mordekaiser, Pantheon and Irelia as next VGUs because Swain is "toplaner" and then deny Akali too because Swain is "midlaner".

Also honestly, I dont like your try to push Riot on Nunu VGU. It started to be annoying.

As it was pointed out Galio and Urgot are both toplaners and tanks. However, they do differentiate in their roles on a team, Galio is a Warden and Urgot is a Juggernaut, 2 different playstyles, for the same position and classification. So X champion being a toplaner won't cut it, don't set yourself up for disappointment. If anything be afraid of the Volibear or Irelia reworks stealing the spotlight away, even though other characters have recieved lore updates, these 2 sport concepts Rioters seem eager to execute. In fact the 1st champion mentioned when Reav3 spoke about champions being granted priority on the VGU list based on a fleshed out narrative/ gameplay design, was Volibear, not long after we got more and more hints at significant plans and ideas to change Volibear's lore, until we are where we are today.
