Kindred special quote with botrk

If you buy botrk with kindred she says, "Created in a land where we are not welcome." This is definitely confirming that botrk is from the shadow isles and that it belonged to their king. On the other hand Kindred seems to not like the shadow isles since they can't claim the souls. Does this mean that they will play a big role in this year's Harrowing?

I also noticed in Kindred's splash that the person they are on top of had a crown on their head that fell off when they hit the ground. Who could this be!?

I think it was more confirmed with Kalista's quotes

Kalista "Once, he was a noble king, until grief overcame his reason." "In the end, it was not his blade that stole our lives." "As once it symbolized hope, so now shall it incite despair!"

Wasn't it confirmed that the Ruined King is an altar on TT?

No those are the lady and the lord, neither of them is the king.

The altars are just wife and husand, the husband also says ''for the king'' or something like that so how could he be king.

Who is this "he" you are referring to. I am guessing the "ruined king" is just a phrase not his literal name. When the altar says "for the king" they are both referring to the same people being the Ruined King.

I think it confirmed that kindred is death more :/.

Alternatively, it's because Kindred is death and necromancy is big in the shadow isles. Even the resident gravedigger is undead.

Yeah that's why I said they can't claim their souls. Thus, they're salty.

Kindred is this years harrowing champion.

Aw, Christ. It's obvious. Kindred is going to be Bilgewater's "savior" for this upcoming Harrowing.

Ehhh, doubt it. Most people don't even know Kindred is real, it's more a myth that just so happens to be real.

Maybe, but that doesn't mean they can't battle the Harrowing. They have the motive (death probably isn't a fan of undeath), and almost certainly have the power. I think it's likely... perhaps I wouldn't put money down on it, but y'know, I won't be surprised if it turns out to be the case.

I don't think they're the savior of Bilgewater. Kindred likely hate the Shadow Isles for perverting the natural order of life and death, but they're busy dealing with day-to-day death. I can see Kindred attempting to hunt down the undead of the Shadow Isles in their downtime, but they wouldn't prioritize Bilgewater as a whole. If it was their time to die, it's their time to die.
