I feel like swain's facial features miss their mark. He should look a bit older, especially his hair and nose were better in the teased version imo.

I'm kind of torn about the new Darius art. He looks awesome, sure, but I really enjoyed his old one, where he was just choking some guy to death with a contemptuous sneer. I felt it did a good job showing his disdain for weakness, whereas this one is kind of just a generic "angry dude with his arms thrown back"

I dislike the Darius splash.

It speaks more of him as a blood-thirsty berserk, rather than an enduring warrior who never backs down.

Plus he lost his touch of grey. I really liked that Darius was a physically oriented champion (I.E. not Swain) who seemed to not be some 20 something, but was old enough to actually have some grey hairs coming in. It really added gravity and weight to him as a threatening figure; you know what they say about old soldiers.

Bit disappointed with Darius. Not badly executed, mind you, most of the issues I had/have with some of the new "dynamic" splasharts are thankfully absent and I don't wonder what Darius is doing there. It's just that Darius' old splash conveyed that impression of a calm, relentless and unstoppable force. The way he looked up from that fresh corpse and gave you that "You're next"-look was awesome and I'd love it if we could maintain that calm menace over the "Raargh-I'm angry"-look he has going on there.

Swain, I like. No perspective-zoom, no dash-pose just him sitting there, taking you apart with his eyes. Agree with the others here though that maybe he shouldn't invest his salary into that many hair products.

Galactic Renekton however takes the cake in my book and I don't even play him. Although I do find it kinda ironic that Darius is going full rage and RENEKTON, of all people, has the solemn thinker-pose. xD

Am i missing something? If theyre still putting out these incredibly way done splash updates, why are they pulling in lesser made ones at the same time?
