What if the Yeti of Nunu, The ursin, Fizz Tribe, Alistar Tribe and Ramus are Vastaya ?

It make sense considering they are a chimeric beings specially voliber, alistar and ramus.

Then the Yeti also speaks . So what if in Nunu's VGU the yeti and him interact well and not just the " Don't make the Yeti angry " type :(

And about fizz, i think he is confirmed vastayan because of this, The Makara Tribe, the Carnevorous Ever-Smiling. Unless its another specie. the only thing that we need now is a confirmation from riot.

So my theory is that there is another vastayan update. updating the left out vastayans and their herald maybe is Ramus/Voli/Nunu's VGU and I think the question mark in the image is the ursine's or maybe the ursins is the khonlui tribe, just a diff name because runeterra is vast and has many language (also volibear = rhinobear i think). Lastly, i think alistar's tribe is the Ottrani Tribe too, just my instict telling me that it is his tribe.

BONUS: Don't argue Trundle specie/tribe because they don't look chimeric to me/no animal features. We also need other species/race in LOL too you know. I'm just stating the obvious that the one's i mentioned above look very vastayan.

EDIT: Yes, Ali and Voli are not vastayan as riot says here but the remaining champs that i have said remains unknown at the moment. Another theory of mine is that, Alistar is a descendant of the vastayasha’rei. because as riot say's vastaya is a gene combine with human and vastayasha’rei and we don't know the descendants of the vastayasha’rei only so its possible. We might never know if Voli is too...

The thing is it doesn't work like this. An example: Dolphins and whales looks like fishes, but they are mammals. You can't say they are fishes, since they don't share the traits of fishes (they don't lay eggs, they don't have gills but instead a lung, they have a constant body temperature which only have mammals or birds). Same goes for the mentioned champion.

Sharjo stated that Volibear is more a spirit/a force of natur and is by far too scare to be Vastayan. Nobody knows that Fizz people are and I don't think we will ever know. Also, the Makara Tribe is more crustacean class, as far we know. (People asked the same things, so Sharjo shared some more insight about this tribe) Xayah and Rakan do have taunts for Vastayan and we got a Vayasta Update. So if Nunu and Alistar don't have any taunt, it means they just aren't vayasta.

Ofc, you can call whales fishes, but it won't change the truth that they are mammals.

Yeah. fizz pretty much vastaya make sense unlike the yordle cousin theory.

None of them are vastaya sorry. The only vastaya we have in the game are Nami, Rengar, Wukong, Ahri, Xayah and Rakan.

I pretty agree. they all look vastayan to me.

Well, the Vastaya are specifically offspring of Vasthayshai'rei that breed with humans, and have natural magic abilities.

Willump is just an animal. Rammus was just an animal.

Fizz, Alistar, Volibear, and the Yordles might be offspring of the Vasthayshai'rei that breed with other creatures. Although Fizz and the other Yordles might be from a different planet and they might have crashed on Runeterra during the invasion of the Watchers.

Yordles and Fizz aside, the Vasthayshai'rei could have breed with cows to produce the Minotaur, and bears to produce the Ursin. Although the Ursin might just be normal bears who have developed sapience through natural means. Nothing about them is inherently magic.

I support this theory cause it makes sense.

You deserve my Upvote :D

The thing is: We have a site specifically for the Vastaya. http://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_GB/race/vastaya/

If any of these champs were vastaya then why would riot leave them out of the site?

Factions also list all their champions regardless if they have already an updated lore or not,so there is no reason why the vastaya site should be different in that regard.

These champs might be related to Vastaya, but they are definetly not vastaya themselves.

Riot confirmed Ali wasn't a vastya

its completely non-sense if they'll make a new specie but out cast the ones that totally fit in race (Alistar,Voli,Fizz and Rammus)

Blue Moon Wolf7/29/2017, 7:28:16 AM2 votes

They are not Vastayan. Rioters have repeatedly mentioned this at this point (regarding Volibear Alistar and Fizz specifically). On top of that, Xayah has a unique taunts for when she kills Vastayans https://youtu.be/Y7u0BeSHYFQ?t=4m27s

If they do not trigger that taunt, they are not Vastaya. Even if Riot was going to wait to do a second Vastaya update, they would at least trigger that taunt when Xayah kills them until then.

They were officially stated to not be Vastaya.

Is prefer they not be Vastaya. There's so much potential for diversity here, and interesting inter-species* relations and conflict. It would be a shame if we just went the "all magical animal-like beings are Vastaya" route.

It also seems like Vastaya are (exclusively?) native to Ionia.

*I know Vastaya are more of a phylum/class/family (not sure exactly what level of classification they are) than a species, but the point remains.

I'm pretty sure Rammus is more God-type creature or very very old Ascended
