Genuinely curious what people think. Not really sure how its meant to be interpreted, since she did love Noxus, until they tried killing her. Her lore says she wants to restore her vision of Noxus, but does that mean she wants to make it a great, powerful and honorable nation, similar to Demacia, or does she want to go off on her own and side with another nation? What do you guys think?
Honestly I think at this point it is pretty hard to judge her. She was hungry for battle and glory in the war,which is a rather dark motivation,but she didn't like killing helpless people.
And we barely have any lore on her after she left Noxus,not to mention that her retcon could greatly alter her character anyway.
Riven's whole crisis of faith/breakdown was caused by realizing that what she was waving the banner for was an empire that said "You can be great and powerful if you fight for us" and then launched chemical nukes at their own troops.
Not much of an opportunity to climb the ranks through honor and bravery if you're dissolved in Singed-goop because you were used as cannon fodder.
I've always taken Riven's motivation as a desire to try and destroy the internal scheming and backstabbing that seems rampant in the Noxian leadership, as well as some of their more unpleasant practices (what with the friendly fire and all). However, the new Lore updates do put a bit of that into Swain, so I'm curious as to how she feels about that, or if they'll change her motivations.
I think, deep in her heart and soul, she's not evil, she didn't know they sent her to exterminate(and probably kill her/let her die in there, idk, seems fishy what happened...i feel like the puppet master who did this knew Riven was different than others Noxians, such as Darius, and she could turn against them soon, so to prevent any troubles from her, they did it before it happened) and no to reform Ionia, but she seems to like battling with someone strong for glory, sounds a bit like Garen
If you listen to what she says, she doesn't sound like an evil person, "So much death.", "For those who were lost.", "To serve the greater good." , "My hands are stained.", she does like Noxus, but the methods they used...she doesn't approve them
"She carried out the orders of her superiors, terminating the remnants of a beaten and fractured enemy with extreme prejudice." Riven shouldn't have done this and i think she knows it, I wish she wouldn't have done it, so that could be the reason why Singed bombed them, but it wasn't like that So i think she has a mix of evil and good, but she seems to go to the good zone

She's living in Ionia, alone? Yasuo? Can't wait to hear more from her 
BTW, i hope Riot updates her lore and classic skin soon + cinematic about what happened to see HOW it happened and what is she doing after the exile Oh and i can't vote, i click on Vote and the page just reloads
