British accent with mechanical undertones? I freaking predicted this... god it's mundane. She's a bad mix of Lissandra and Ekko.

Except she's not cold, cold would imply indifference, and while you could argue that her detached demeanor is uncaring, she is anything but. Every line she has is dripping with disdain, she loathes those she deems beneath her, even Caitlyn is treated with disrespect by her. That is not the voice of someone who is cold, those are the words of someone who cares too much, who places such an investment in class, breeding, and upbringing that she is blinded to the value of an individual's worth.

And of course you predicted her voice, what else would it be? Caitlyn is an example of the upper class in Piltover and her accent is British, Camille is borderline aristocracy, if not entirely. Her existence is devoted to maintaining the status quo in Piltover, so naturally most of her voice lines reference her classicism. You can put forth this argument with every champion.

Imaginated opera tones behind his thoughts about him having mixed feelings about the monster he is? Holy shit, that's good.

From his unsettling appearance alone, we all knew Jhin was going to be unhinged, a homicidal sociopath so obsessed with his own ideas of beauty any moral quandary is practically nonexistent in his mind. And I say practically because, as you pointed out, there are fleeting moments where he expresses concern or confusion, which further reinforces his insanity.

It seems novel because few, at least I hope so, are given to such violent rambling, there is a distance between ourselves and Jhin because we don't look at someone and think their blood would make a very nice hue on a rosebush. Camille does not sound novel because we have all experienced classicism in some regard, we have each felt disdain for someone we view as our lessers.

I imagined that Camille would be scarier, more menacing, more... elegant. She is calculated, but she was raised with royalty, so her quotes should have that distinctive rich quip to it. She should be more insightful, yet when she faces her foes she should be relentless in a subtle way. A bit paradoxical, which is where the beauty lies.

How would you make her scarier with out turning her into a completely amoral killer? She isn't designed to be scary, nothing about her is frightening because she is not something to be feared. She is meant to fill us with outrage, resentment that someone feels they have a right to judge us based upon their own standards. That's why so many people were quick to say the baron may have been completely innocent.

How can she be insightful, which entails having a thorough understanding of something, when her character is based on unwavering conviction of her standards. If she was insightful, she wouldn't be nearly so flawed in her perspective, may not even be suitable for her appointed task: culling unwanted weeds in Piltover's society. In my opinion, her relentless attitude is reflected in her kit. Her Q is a measured attack, forcing you to wait 1.5 seconds if you want to make half of its damage true damage. It requires prudent consideration even while under pressure. She can move freely while using her W; she sacrifices a bit of speed to keep up her assault, but only the furthest half returns life to her in addition to increased damage, forcing more careful positioning. Her E is the very definition of relentless, encouraging players to weave in and out of combat, but the benefits of going towards an enemy are greater than running away, a subtle way of saying "commit to this."

She's not a screaming warrior or a brutal killer, she's not a hyper-lethal assassin, she's a dancer whose kit demands every step be measured for maximum output.

Take, for example, in the comic we saw. She goes up to one guy, eviscerates a limb, and staring down with those cold, blue eyes, asks: "Where's Volkage?" See, that's the kind of cold I like. Batman-style cold. You send them a message not to mess with you, then you ask questions.

She retains this in her lines, in my opinion. She is concise, with barely any line exceeding more than seven words, she is dismissive, and she is very arrogant.

"Let me make this clear: I will kill you." To the point, and in her haughty fashion implies her target to be of such simple mind they cannot comprehend she means to end their life.

Besides, we already have "batman" in Vayne.
