Am I the only one who thinks that Kayn/Rhaast doesn't… look like a champion?

I have nothing against him, he just seems… off, somehow. I feel like he doesn't look or feel like a League of Legends Champion. A friend put it like this: "the art and the effects and stuff feel so different from all the other champs before it"

I don't know, does anyone else agree with us? Can anyone explain it to me?

EDIT: I'm not even talking about his gameplay or abilities, and I'm not saying I'm not excited. His whole aesthetic just feels strange to me. Maybe it's the scythe.

He's a character from a generic Facebook advert for a poorly translated Korean game no one's ever heard of that'll probably steal your credit card.

Either that or an awful fan character ripped off Reddit.

He looks like a bunch of traits and themes from other champs put together. For example, should Karthus have that Scythe instead?

I do agree that he feels different,but in the end there'll be always a few champs who feel completely different from everyone else and thats not really a bad thing,because everyone has their personal tastes.

I had the same thoughts about Zac when he was released, but this changed after some time. So you probably just need to get to play with/against this champ a bit and get used to him and he will become part of the League of Legend for you aswell ;)

He does seem different, and that would be partly due to it being a forced release when they weren't ready because of a leak

I was already very worried when they released Xayah/Rakan. Now, after seeing this horrible anime mess that is Kayn, I can confirm Riot has decided to go full generic anime.

He looks like an anime character. He's really cool and all - but he seems like he'd be much more suited to a game like Diablo 3... Or Dota 2.
