However I cant help but be a little confused why Captain Miss Fortune can't use that updated voice. Regardless of if you think MF is fun and playful, I think its agreed that Captain MF takes place after she's obtained leadership of Bilgewater in current lore. Just my hot take on it.
I just cannot understand how they can nail it in GGMF yet somehow fail so horribly for the base skin. I mean at that point, you're just swapping from a sci-fi genre to a pirate genre, so I don't see how nailing a playful/flirty/badass/HBIC in Gun Goddess can be so difficult to translate over to the regular version.
Plus, Miss Fortune is Riot's character. And you cannot please everyone. So at some point, they need to put on the big boy pants and commit to something that will be a very stark improvement, even if it will piss off some people.
Captain MF needs unique voice lines just like Captain Gangplank does. and they should have unique taunts when facing each other.
They probably didn’t get around to it.
I would love to hear the scrapped miss fortune voice over. I still wanna see what it would’ve been. But props to them thinking it wouldn’t been good
