Jeddy01711 votesPeople need to learn that artists aren't machine programmed to crap out high quality art. Creating 10 seperate splashes AND animating them would take a lot of time & resources. Resources that could have prevented or delayed a number of the login screens & splash arts created this year, like the updated splashes for Twitch or Sion for example.
Velzard of Koz3 votesWell, it's ultimate skin, all ultimate skins (not sure about poor boy Ezreal) had multiversion. Wasn't problem to make tetracolor version of Udyr/Sona. And it doesn't have to be 10 splashes. Login theme only uses three elements and it seems fine to me. At least the five main elements as recolors might be doable. If I recall well they said they have something special prepared and here is animated splash art like Legendary skins have.
However, I am not buying the skin so I don't really mind, it looks well, too. But I can fully understand disappointment of those who were hyped for ultimate skin. Neverending rant about every single detail is just as annoying as inaccepting that when something is so special and rare as Ultimate skin, it gets justified expectations and often just as justified disappoinment. Both should be in bearable measure, admire and appreciate the effort given, but don't fear to point out imperfection.

I will get it, not because I play Lux particularly much (only if I get her in ARAM or a choice pick in any of the RGQ's), but because - as with the majority of the skins I own - of the aesthetics.

The only money I really have unnecesary too much of are my phone credit (which is paid by my parents, I study at different state so my bank account currency is different from the credit one), because I don't phone much, but you have to eventually get some credit there even when you have some left otherwise it would disable the card because of payment inactivity so it is accumulating there - however, Riot doesn't seem to support my phone operator so it wouldn't work, kek.

I anyway settled on policy of not suporting Riot financially until something that'd be really worth it. There have been a lot of suspicious misbans that were even admited to be mistakes and some steps of Riot I disagree with. I am afraid I'd be banned because of misunderstanding like some others and I don't want to rely on my topic on Boards getting enough upvotes to be noticed by Riot. It's nothing too serious, just my choice, I got some cool skins (Debonair Ezreal, Nottingham Ezreal, Steel Lux, Championship Tresh, Project Zed) from Hextech and Project event, other than that I can play with defaults. Oh and I bought Bard Blue Chroma for ARAM for IP, not worth it by price but worth it by looks, lol.
If I wanted to throw away some bunch of money, I'd probably bought it, it's aesthetically fine (I'm telling this because you seem to think that I wouldn't buy it because it'd ugly). However, I still think they could do better. Most of VFX is the same effect, only recolored and with only insignificant detail. Not something that I think they must change coz of me, but the reason I won't miss it. The most interesting thing on the whole thing is the combination mini-game (which is just wonderful), however even there I'd rant that Nature + Air could've given Sand.
Basically I am glad that people like it, I hope you'll have fun, but I won't miss it, it doesn't hurt me any way :D Maybe some day in future.

I had an open mind to the reason for your choice, so I didn't think anything towards it. :) I have been promised Elementalist Lux as a gift for some tech support I did for another who had issues with his PC, so this skin won't cost me anything.
Maybe some day in future.

I got SGU recently that way. Now I'm just missing the Orange essence required to unlock it. And I'll also have to unlock Udyr first...

As for the phone/card part, I know that one. I phone so little, I only use paycards for it. I have had an instance of being notified of such lack of activity, I either had to spend what was left or recharge it, or I would forfeit what I had left on that card. We're talking phone for less than ~33 EUR in 15 months.

The patience :D I once had like 3 chests I waited with for release of Star Guardians. The chances were small but If I'd get free Star Guardian Lulu I wouldn't complain. I don't own her yet but played her several times in ARAM when she was free and seemed fun and OP.

SG Lulu is based off the same model as WW Lulu, and the Pix animations are so boring! By comparison, DT Lulu's Pix looks alive and like its own character.

You can pay 3250 RP now, or 2450 RP in 6 months but without the skin card. If I am to pay the 3250 RP, and they really go away from the tradition of a promotional sale on the ultimates (albeit inconsistent ones), then I want the ward skin included.
3250 RP or 2450 RP - haven't cost Tencent any more money to make the skin.

If if will actually retain the base Lux portrait except on the HUD, then I will be hugely disappointed. And frankly all the effort gone into the HUD portraits would be a waste of time if it's not consistent.
And I for one care not about the anatomical specifics surrounding this skin. Whether it's the splash art, model or both that's getting heat, I don't care - I just know I find it to be a beautiful piece of art. Period!
And the ingame models is on a technical level I have yet to see elsewhere in this game. Great detailing, actually believable particles (mostly) and (again, mostly) very smooth animations.

Curry Nights1 votesIt feels like Lux is too skinny in the splash. As if her stomach is caved in a bit (due to being skinny and her arching her back), so the rib cage is pushing up and creates this odd bump on her torso.

My bottom half is bigger cause I'm Hispanic so I have big thighs tho. :P
