I read that Riven teaser was released 5 years ago today. If you rearrange the word riven you can spell Ivern. Could the two be related?

The name was probably a "clever" mixup on words to dedicate to Riven but I don't really see how a tree hippy thing can be related to an ex-murderer edge human lady

I think it might be a small meta-joke about rivens release,but aside form that i doubt that they are related.

Maybe in her travels, Riven met Ivern, who, at that point, had possibly forgotten his name due to age, and the two became friends and, as someone said, redeemed Riven, creating the skin.
