Lore Question: How Strong is Janna?
What with the new lore update for Janna she has transformed from a, more or less, simple air sorceress to an elemental spirit of air whose "Armed with the power of Runeterra’s gales" and "watch(es) over Runeterra’s oceans." So obviously she has become a much more powerful entity within the League of Legends universe, but how powerful is she? Please remember I'm talking about the lore of the universe and not about her in game.
When it comes to power there is no doubt that Aurelion Sol is arguably the most powerful thing in their universe, but what about the rest of the champions? Well the weakest champions in the lore would be one's like Garen and Draven who, although are powerful in game, have no real special abilities in the lore. Following them would be champions who have magical qualities or unnatural powers such as Evelynn, Lux, and Leblanc for example. After that would be champions who have abilities beyond just simple magic and are extremely powerful but not enough to the point that they're invincible, such as Brand, Vel'Koz, and Diana. The strongest of all would be the champions who are just one step away from godhood or are already gods in their own right, a few of them being Lissandra, Ryze, and Aurelion Sol as stated above. Simply, we could name these categories as Weak, Average, Powerful, and Divine. So where does Janna fit into all of this?
Well in the original lore she was a wind mage putting her at Average power level but has since then been essentially upgraded into a spirit which puts her at Powerful status. But, of course, all power comes from somewhere, and that applies to Janna to. Janna was created out of the prayers of sailors and other seafarers, the more they believed in her the more powerful she grew. So right now in the lore she's at Powerful status but lets say, hypothetically, that she grew more powerful. She's already basically worshipped in both Zaun and Piltover so it's safe to say she draws most of her power from there but, she was created from the prayers of sailors and if there is anywhere in Runeterra a sailor is sure to be found it's in Bilgewater, along with pirates who are also a type of seafarer. Lets say that all of Bilgewater started to worship her, obviously she would grow more powerful, but lets take this a step further and say that at least majority or 51% of Runeterra began worshipping her. She still probably wouldn't be strong enough to face Sol in a fight, but what if she were to face Lissandra or Ryze in a fight, with that many belivers, would she be powerful enough to defeat them in a battle? Please feel free to provide your own opinions and hypotheticals.
Sidenote, Janna's powers aren't all benevolent in the lore as she has been known to summon powerful storms and tempests to punish those with ill intent.
