Can anyone direct me to where I can go to catch up. I don't remember reading much of the Taliyah stuff with bloodlines, and I haven't read many of the new bios. I have no idea what was updated in the last half-year and it's really hard to find these things.

Sadly finding the new lore can be quite hard. Your best shot is likely the wiki,where you can find pretty every new champion lore(consisting of a champion bio and an additional lore piece) for the newer champs(as well as most who got a VU or are part of Shurima,Targon,Bilgewater or the shadow isles)
Long story short. We have met Aurelion Sol he who creates galaxies and has destroyed countless planets. Pretty much puts to shame every champion outside of Bard in terms of power lore wise. He has come to Runeterra to kill another Pantheon avatar, watch Targon burn, be the protector of this universe against the Void or more specifically the being on the other side of the Void who puts all other Voidlings to shame.
