Japanese Mythology in Blood Moon Aatrox?

After seeing the Blood Moon Aatrox splash and images of his ult form (as well as screaming in frustration of having to add another $10 to my Christmas budget), I was wondering if the legend of tengus in shinto myth was the primary inspiration behind the skin. I think that Blood Moon Elise was also based off of the legend of the Jorogomo so I think it'd be pretty awesome to see even more yokai based skins in the Blood Moon line.
