Small rant on how Skins are done
Saw that Aurelion sol is getting a skill and it looks awesome but it reminded me that I don't like how the current way of selecting skins are done. The way skins are done now I feel allows for bias. The way skins are done now, I believe, is they wait till they have a stroke of genius and this leads to champs like Ahri, Lux and Annie with a closet full of skins and others going for yeaaaaaarrrsss with just one or two. I think it's unfair and justifiable to players who love the champs with one or two skins to have to sit and see champs with ten+ skins get more and the riot then tells you wait/ soon tm. Worse it hurts more to know if you love an unpopular champ (
) that you will never get consistent skins, and then seeing how easy it is for riot to get motivated with ideas for skins for the more popular champs. (Kled has been released since 2016 and Zoe has already gotten a new skin.
I dislike the arguement for how skins are done. I think some champs need a temporary skin "lockout" based on certain criteria. I mean the time and effort they are putting in the 13th annie skin could be used on at least the ideation process or brain storming for the next
,
or even
skin.
&
,even though cho'gaths skin was due to a charity-event),so its appearant that riot looked at the roster and saw who went ignored for too long.
