This is the Miss Fortune that we need to see in-game. Not the over-sexualized harlot who just makes jokes about lust (since that's Eve's thing now).

Miss Fortune is just as much brutal as Gangplank was, mixed with the unpredictability of a blood-thirsty killer who can hide behind a mask. Gangplank will have one hell of a battle with the redhead to take back Bilgewater, and he's pulling out all the stops to do so.

Be prepared. Bilgewater is gonna get spicy.

From the page 9 and 12 we see the Miss Fortune of the In Game... and she was going to keep acting like that until she discovered that the man was going to backstab her.

So, i dont think that Riot should fully get rid of that part of Fortune.

Really, I hope Riot takes the character duality into account should they decide to give her a visual update - let's face it, they're going to reach a point where the only champions left to update are those that need better visuals and voice work.

Ah A classic story of the 'hero' becoming the monster she destroyed Don't get me wrong I'm not calling miss fortune evil, just saying that she is slowly realizing that in order to run bilgewater she must become more and more like gankplank, which therein lies the tragic irony

But you have to wonder? Did gankplank start out like her An idealistic pacifist with plans to make the world a better place through soft words and open hands [sg-ahri-3] gods no The man got his heartbroken and went on a crusade to claim and strengthen the empire his father built, but even he knew that to bring the wild vicious beast that is bilgewater to heel, it takes guns and swords not hugs and kisses

When gankplank finally decides to show his face I wonder if there will be anything left of what makes miss fortune different from gankplank

I think this all but 75% confirms for me that Riot is going to be releasing lore comics every 2 weeks. But this being Riot & no official word on the subject, I still have doubt in my heart.

Anyway, I would love to see a comic for Annie Braum Garen Leona Nasus Yorick Taliyah Diana Riven Rumble & some many other champs.

It's strange that one of the beta champs have had very little lore love throughout the years. Even back in the Institute days, Annie was absent from lore material. And now, we can't even be sure what little lore she has is canon.

It sucks because of her young age, she has a decent amount of potential directions they can take her story. It would be nice if the lore team gave her at least half the love the skins team give her.

Ya I find that weird too. Isn't she a fairly popular champion as well? Maybe not in ranked or LCS or anything but for casual players I feel like she's pretty big even if she isn't played that often.

Ikr. Make her parents former members of the black rose or members of rivals of the black rose. They could even make annie some kind of " the child of the profecy" kind of character. A person who could destroy runaterra if her power falls in the wrong hands, being the reason why her parent left Noxus.

That's an interesting foundation for some backstory, but my problem with it is that it doesn't flesh out Annie's character & her story well.

How would she feel about being some prophecy child? Would she know? Would she even care? How does being a prophecy child affect her childhood? How does it affect her motivations, goals & story?

It's kind of implied Sarah had no intention of actually honoring her end of the bargain. Bringing her to bed is probably a good way of dying there.

I don't have it so clear. She said she needed his support in the council for her own interests. What good would make to her killing him then? It would only put the rest against her. She only chose to kill them when she had no other choice left.

IDK, I think she probably has more in common with GP than she realizes but she has an ideal for a better Bilgewater. Even if the tragedy in her youth sparked a bloodthirsty monster in her, she hates how corrupt things are and the fact she was trying to hold herself back when she recognized the odds were slowly being stacked against her does speak that she wants to be able to do diplomacy without having to kill everyone that tries to cross her. She gives into that cathartic monster in the end, but her story is far from over and given we know Gangplank rises again she'll eventually have to face that monster inside of her.

I suppose, but I don't think we ever got much background on young Gangplank in this new lore.

I can't remember why Gangplank took his power originally.

GP in a sense inherited his thronwefrom his father, who was extremely cruel if I recall correctly. If anything I'd say GP and MF are very similiar, we know from Illoai GP was very much a charming free spirit in his youth before he took the throne.

If anything MF is set to doom to make the exact same mistake GP made when he became the corseir king.

I'm a bit disappointed that the comic is about Miss fortune who might have the most canon lore at the moment,but overall I think the story was pretty neat,as it fleshed out Bilgewater quite a bit and I really liked how MF and Harker tried to deceive one another and that MF tried to be diplomatic about this(though i am sad that we never got to know why Harker didn't want to ally himself with Fortune)

There's a reason that the three of them wanted her out of the picture. She's a wild card that none of them can predict benefits from. The devil you know is better than the devil you don't.

Or maybe overconfidence. Maybe he felt that removing her could boost his own reputation and lead him to eventually ruling Bilgewater. After all, his original fame came from lying about his accomplishment.

Also the fact that she blew up Gangplank and is a woman. In this kind of boys' club, never underestimate the power of plain old sexism as a motivator. A strong woman who gets stuff done scares them (with good reason, I'd be scared of Miss Fortune too), so they want her gone to preserve the status quo.

Also, they've implied that the old lore of Gangplank killing his abusive father is still largely canon. Illaoi's lore story confirmed at least that he didn't exactly have a great "father-son relationship". That, and things going sour with the Serpent Priestess are what put the massive chip on his shoulder. Probably some innate power hunger there too, I'm sure.

Every time I see something from Bilgewater I hope my boy TahmKench will pop up. No dice beyond his statue in shadow and fortune, but one day somebody is gonna cut a deal with him, and its going to be fantastic.

I don't know how Riot made the girl who dresses like a drunk sorority girl in a sexy pirate Halloween costume my favorite character. But damn, they just keep nailing the Bilgewater story.

Easily my favorite area in the game, and I don't even particularly like pirates.

Idk, she was in a similar garb to her base skin at the end of the comic, and she seemed to be much more comfortable in it. The captain skin is a bit too ceremonial for me to want to see it all the time.

I thought "Crimson blade" is Du Couteau. But this prediction is probably wrong. From Sir Petya Harker 's remarks, "Crimson blade" is expected to be an Bilgewater citizen.
