For the Kayle+Morgana Update...

Make their base splash art shared, to further emphasize how entwined they are. Just saying, I know that both of their updates are probably a little farther right now but since I'm hyping for it, make their base splash the first to be a shared splash!

I think they could just do it like Jinx/Vi who essentially share their splash but in a different way. As they are in the same place (Piltover) but Vi's is perfectly fine where as Jinx's is completely destroyed.

While this is a good idea, I cannot imagine it working. The scene, color range and exposition would have to be different with both as they are quite opposite of each other, trying to put it together into single splash art would most porbably look forced and weird.

Like imagine Brand and Anivia splash combined. You may imagine some cool exposition like Brand standing beneath with the pose he has now with Anivia spreading her wings like she does now above him, however either:

  1. The champs in the exposition would have to be far away from each other making them look small*
  2. If they were close, the color range forced mash would be eyes-stabbing
  • *Note that point of splash is to expose the champion so the scene is always just some background for the effect, atmosphere and color range. If two champions were together, there would be less or equal amount of focus on them and the scene, which is already bad, take into consideration that they would also be splitting the rest of the focus.

I found this image as best example of what I mean: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/a0/f2/a2/a0f2a299900567756cbe65dc29824ffc.jpg

This is actually very good fanart on its own, however, noticed the reason this wouldn't be good dual splash?

  1. Not enough focus on Leona compared to, for example, focus captured on these splashes http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Poppy_0.jpg http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Taric_0.jpg http://media.wwg.com/2017/01/wallpaper-warwick-199584-200621.jpg

In case it was zoomed at Leona, it would be different story, however there wouldn't be space for Diana.

  1. While the bright-golden color makes it so that color ranges of these two are compatible, it is questionable how well glowing gold would fit to shadow purple.

  2. Diana is not visible fully.

And put whoever made Blood Moon Diana splash to make theirs too.

I honestly hope they don't touch morg's kit at all. She is one of the few balanced champions from way back.

Or they both share equal space on the same splash, but their respective splashes are altered and show more of their own sides of the coin. Like in Kayle's splash, she would be a radiant judicator, while Morgana has a furious scowl. While in Morg's, Kayle would look like a tyrant, while she be an unbound purple godess.

I hope for an extreme contrast in colours, to emphasize more how different they really are!

I'm more concerned with the story people removing the nuances of their characters and making Morgana a nasty villain and Kayle a perfect hero. I love how they're both morally grey now.

It would be like Jinx vs Vi splash art.

I imagine the same scene but different segments. Like, does anyone remember the Project Splash arts that all came together to make one panoramic view of an entire all out skirmish with drones.

This would be super awesome but super hard to make.
