1/17 PBE Update: New Splash Art, Summoner Icons, & More

So I'm sure most of you are aware of the new icons that hit the PBE a few days ago (With absolutely no description on either of them to tell us what they're for). One is a burning flower, and the other is quite obviously some demonic version of Tibbers.

But something caught my attention after thinking about it for a while. That isn't just ANY flower, it's most certainly a daisy. Right next to Tibbers.

Daisy...Tibbers...Daisy...Tibbers...I'll probably look like a Y2K nut when they finally reveal everything, but is it possible this is related to those two pets as opposed to just Annie? Is Ivern perhaps involved in this? I just don't think Riot would be THAT straight-forward with everything to just make it about Annie. They always seem to have SOMETHING up their sleeve. (Remember Sacred Sword Janna?) I'm probably just looking too deep into it, though. So feel free to call me an idiot in the comments, I look forward to it.

I thought they'd just be new spell icons for Annie that weren't properly linked up (since two were missing).

The flower is the passive ( 4 pedals burning, 4 hit passive.) Tibbers is Tibbers. Rest WIP

It's probably a stock icon update. They did a couple a few years back, and there's a ton that look ancient as hell. Annie's bear, Tibbers, is indeed one of these stock icons, as are a few iterations of flowers.

I don't want to see await the day I no longer see Jax punching a man, reading a magical book, and fishing as his ability icons.
