Victorious Skin???

It's possible(not necessarily likely, just possible) that it could be Victorious Sona this year due to her causing quite a stir in the first half of the year. She seems to meet all the criteria, so it's definitely a non-zero chance

would be my main guess at this point.

We start looking at options for the Victorious Skin in the Spring. Making any skin takes time, but the Victorious Skin is also teased one month before it’s released. With this in mind, we need to plan ahead for the Victorious skin, especially in comparison to a normal skin.

To begin, we take a look at champions that had a big competitive impact so far that year—this is largely based on Ranked and Pro play. Once we have some ideas for potential champions, we narrow down that list by eliminating champions who:

1. Already have a Victorious, Championship, or Conqueror skin. We wouldn’t do Conqueror and Victorious Karma in the same year, or Victorious Elise 2.0.

2. Play the same role as a recent Victorious Skin. Since we had a top laner last season, we tried to avoid picking a top laner again this year.

3. Have another skin coming out soon. We try to spread out skin content across our whole champion pool rather than drop a bunch of skins for one champ at the same time.

4. Have a very small number of skins. Since the Victorious Skin can’t be attained by everyone, we don’t want that to feel like the only skin your favorite champ gets.

5. Have a big balance change incoming. This is definitely the hardest criteria to figure out because balance can be fluid and we’re trying to predict the state of the game six months or so in advance.

Not even main biased but...

-Last skin was at about January of 2018 (hextech) -Riot most likely will prioritize an unpopular skin champ the free skin. -Poppy has been picked frequently this and last season mostly as a counter or anti engage champ. -Its nearing the time that Poppy will probably get a skin. -Last tank was Maokai 3 years ago(?)

Counterargument is we havent had a mage support/support get a vict skin in a while. Or adc hasnt had a vict skin in a bit either.

I also didnt think of any other champ soo..

My instincts tell me / , simply because I remember seeing them more than anyone else, but I've been historically bad at predicting these skins, so take my opinion with a grain of prestige-edition aatrox sparkle dust.

i hope he gets It. Never got so popular in pro play like this year, hope the low pickrate in soloq won't be an issue thk

I looked at the Champions with the most competitive presence and here are the top competitors for the victorious skin.

None of these have a Championship skin, or a team skin. They haven't gotten a skin in awhile except zoe and once again these all have a high competitive presence. Expect one of these champs maybe.

I'm kinda hoping for but I know he won't get it, so my guess is or since those 3 in my opinion have had the largest impact in proplay and soloqueue.

Lucian has been doing good competitive, buuuuuuuut this is the only League Character that has actually achieved something recently (aka saving his wife) man deserves some Gold

I've just read an article about the Victorious Skin for season 9 and it is going to be for Aatrox . It is already leaked, so congrtas for the Gold+ players !

I'm wondering if it'll be a bruiser, since there's never been a Victorious skin for a true Fighter. Elise is the only one, and she's more like a weird mage hybrid. That makes Aatrox likely, but he did get a skin early this year. I've also heard people speculating that it'll be a warden/support tank, like Braum or Thresh, but Thresh is likely to instead get a skin that'll come with a Prestige skin, judging by the Prestige leak that has been fairly reliable and continually coming true.

Honestly, as much as I hate to say it, Ez is probably a solid candidate for this year. He's been consistently good and a top/consistent pick, especially in pros. Only thing stopping that is probably that he got a Legendary skin this year and has too large a fan base that many would complain about not being able to complete his skin collection.

We got a mid laner last year, a jungler before that, a top laner before that, and an ADC before that. We're due for a support. Braum or Alistar maybe?

I just got Gold and as a support main, I hope it's someone in that role.
