I seem to remember you mentioned working on it at an early stage, but haven't heard of it since. Is it postponed indefinitely? Is the texture update going to be a placeholder for a good while longer, other champions taking priority?
DwarvenGiant2 votesWell, all we know is that they wanted to deliver his rework with a VU, but due to issues with his VU's development, it has been delayed and they decided to release the rework without it.
Tendrian1 votesBe glad they leave him alone for now...
Pyrodinium1 votesI believe it was mentioned that he was only in the concept step (concept art, exploration of ability visuals and so on). The creation of a new model would be far later in the process.
GreenLore1 votesI actually remember them talking about already working on ryzes model late in 2013.
Acolyte of Steel1 votesI'm wondering the same as the OP. His new texture genuinely saddens me every time I see it. It's so awful compared to the original.
Dreamspitter1 votesTotally forgot about it myself.
