Shurima War story?

I remember someone at Riot say they wanted to create new lore and stories for the champions of Shurima, and one thing I thought would be cool is if there was a story that told of a war between Azir and Xerath over Shurima after they had reawakened. We haven't seen much interaction between them after they became ascended, and it's not to far off to assume that they would go to war. This would be a really interesting story to see between them, it could even give a reason to bring back the ascension game mode or even be another thing like the Ionia Vs Noxus match. I really hope that the Shurima champions lore updates are still happening and are really great either way
