Will all champions one day possess them?

Definetly not. Facial expressions are ideal to do for champions who have faces that take up large amounts of real estate on the model, as they're very apparent all of the time. Most champions do not work like this, including the vast majority of human champions. For yordles and Fizz this would be great, and folks with large heads or non-human heads like Tahm Kench, Volibear or Alistar. The majority of champions though wouldn't benefit from this and as a result will likely never get proper facial animations.

It's not like it wouldn't be nice to have, but when you're making games you have to ensure you're using things as efficiently as possible so the game actually performs and doesn't chug ridiculously. What is wholly unnecessary to the point that it'd actually hinder more than benefit the game will be thrown out, and for most champions this means no facial animations.

I hope so. But Sion's metal jaw might impede that.

All future Yordles need it. Then if they can, other humanoid and non-humanoid champions....if they have a face ofc.
