Arcade MF still plays the classic gun sounds as well?

See title ^ I think the Arcade firing sound plays as well but its hard to tell because the classic drowns it out pretty well. Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

It's a shame because it really doesn't work with that delightful 'bwip bwoop' you get from hitting love taps.
