Maybe its just me but I feel like I see a lot of stuff in the general art style and aesthetic to league that reminds me of locales and enemies in Darksiders 2.
Shadow Isles stuff specifically, and more recently these deathsworn skins.
Am I crazy, or is this a real thing?
Well, Riot openly admitted that they've been doing a lot of serious, dark, and grim stuff lately. They said that the newest champion, while cataclysmic, will actually be quite bubbly. We're about to get a very lighthearted champion to ease the tragedy that's going around. I'm sure she'll have her own problems to go through, but who knows. Her tragedy and darkness might work like Ivern's where it is all in the pass.
