New Lore?
Can someone give a quick run down of the new lore? Up until like 5 days ago I still thought the lore was that Summoners rift was used to settle political debates, but I also read that back in season 2.

Pretty much the institude and summoners was retcon two years ago. Riot felt like the league was too restricting, so they remove the concept of summoners from lore. This is call the new lore as now runneteraa has no institude and multiple of it's faction had been reinmagined, ie Targon,Shurima etc.
