So I just now realized that one of the major goals of Targon is to stop the Void invasions, as shown in Sol and Diana's stories (well, I assume that's what Diana was fighting). So then I started wondering, how does Targon get along with Kassadin? Are they even aware of each other? What about Targon and Malzahar?
Personally, I'm of the opinion they don't really know each other (beyond a vague chance that the aspects have some more profound knowledge about the inner workings of everything)
But it seems to me Riot is trying to set up the Void Invasion as some sort of major event that is going to cross multiple (maybe all) locations of the setting. We saw hints about the Void in Shurima, a ton in Targon, and we still have Malz and Kass to deal with.
Part of me was hoping that during the Targon event there'd be a story bringing in Kassadin and Shen (Since he'd logically be anti-void) to team up with the Targon champs. But of course nothing happened :l
Not sure about Kassadin, but I'd imagine that Targon and Malzahar wouldn't get along very well, considering the trouble he might already be causing for them.
I think that Kass may be the Lucian/Yorick of the Void: a loner that other people avoid.
