Is Shen eligible for a new skin?

His last 'real' skin was Warlord, and that was released in April of 2012. He's had his TPA skin more recently in 2013, but I know that Riot have said esports skins don't count towards a champion's skin eligibility. So, pretty much, Shen hasn't had a skin in four years. This is up there with champions like Urgot and Swain, who aren't getting skins until they receive a VU. Now that Shen has had an update, though, and Taric is getting a skin in the next patch, I was wondering if at least he is being considered for something. I know you can't talk about unreleased content, but it would give me some peace of mind if he was at least on the list for a skin soon. Thanks.

Shenpai needs a new skin. Hes almost my most played champion, pretty much tied with Bard.

Yes he is, since he's been reworked. There's nothing keeping him from getting a new skin now.

He and Poppy both could use new skins and are now finally viable for one as well after their reworks. Taric got one pretty quickly, so I'd imagine to see a Shen or Poppy skin pop up anytime now.

Pretty sure he's eligible, as he did have his VGU which included gameplay and art updates. So he'll probably see something new soon. Some champs just have ended up taking quite some time after their updates though, such as Sion did. Riot did mention that Taric Poppy would see theirs sooner then Sion , so Shen should be in the same boat and won't take another 4-5 years to get one.

Well since there's no "He's not particle intensive so we cant give him something flashy" excuse anymore, it would be really nice to see something of the Legendary or Ultimate variety on him. Please Rito, heed our call! Shen

I'm pretty sure he is definitely eligible for a skin but instead of just talking about CAN he get a skin lets talk about what skin would be cool for the Ninja.

Aside from the Project: Shen and Shenpai what else would be cool.

I recently made a post about more fairy tales skin and I though a captain hook skin for Shen would be pretty cool his basic attack would be with the hook and he summon his cutlass with his q.

Looking forward to a new Shen skin. A skin that has particle changing effects (Legendary or Ultimate). Fingers crossed.

A while back I wrote a whole story on why Shen should get a project skin. Especially, being reborn from the dead to defeat one of his greatest enemies in history (Zed) would be amazing. I too want a new skin for Shen (preferably something like a legendary project skin).

He's probably eligible for a new nerf. He's still usable, and Riot won't stand for that.

He is getting a Teddy bear skin soon. And his ult shield with be a giant opaque bear that hugs the target. His sword will be a stick with a behive on the end for all that sweet honey he loves to eat.
