Whats with Ahri in KDA?
idk maybe its just me but why choose Ahri? she already has a popstar skin.... you couldnt of put syndra into it instead?

From what I understand, each member of the group chose a champion to represent them. They didn't really know anything about them other than "Yep, she looks like my style".
So going by that, it's just coincidence that Ahri landed in it - Plus it gave them a chance to expand some non canon lore, by making this Popstar Ahri 5 years later, or whatever it was they said.
Syndra doesn't fit the personality of a pop star, Ahri does.
Long story short; Ahri is one of the most popular champion in the whole game, and the de-facto Korean champion.
