Competency of Riot Game's new Story Team

Just had an unpleasant thought. While they may be working on all of League of Legend's champion stories and lore and may be taking the time with it, what if for a moment they show incompetence?

• 'Well .. just use that story, then. That will do..'

And so the first response may be 'Yay! Some stuff to read about the champion's character we play!'. It may be received well initially but that's besides the point. A consistency of incompetent work may accumulate disappointment, and then the whole's teams work is in question and then suddenly all that is new could be turned to shit (extreme case)!

• 'They accepted that. This is easier than we thought!'

No. Please don't think like this as it could effect quality of story and permanently leave a stain.
