Interesting thing I noticed about Darkins and how Tryndamere ties into it. (Theory)

Keep in mind this is mostly just speculation, if you have anything to say please I'd love to discuss it.

For a majority of what we have seen Darkins require a host to manifest their powers as they are usually seen bound to a weapon. While it has been implied with champions like Aatrox where the sword itself is Aatrox and the body is just a host Aatrox has taken over, we got more insight into how the process works with my favourite jungle champion as of late; Kayn, who also confirms to us that Varus has a Darkin within him (most likely inside his bow). Rhaast is imprisoned in the weapon and takes over Kayn's body if you choose the path of Darkin, so wheres that leave Tryndamere in all this with his relationship to Aatrox?

Well, bit of a theory but I think Aatrox is preparing Tryndamere to be his new host. A mighty warrior who storms the fields of battle with nothing but his unrelenting rage to drive him forward being host for a demonic entity that turns the tides of war, sounds like a match made in heaven right?

With Aatrox referring to Tryndamere as his "greatest creation", it could imply multiple things, but to me it implies Tryndamere is "ready" and worthy to be Aatrox's new host. Could Demonblade Tryndamere be the result of Aatrox finally becoming one with the barbarian?

Well, that's all I have for my little theory, what do you guys think?

I'd love to hear your side of things. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

This actually makes a lot of sense. The Rioter who wrote the Kayn Champion Insights (BananaBand1t) said: "The instant someone lays hand on a darkin weapon, a battle of wills begins. The darkin trapped inside fights to control the wielder’s mind and body, and it’s a contest the average person can never win. Most are instantly overpowered, their bodies becoming no more than a vessel the darkin occupies while searching for a more worthy host." I also believe that somewhere in Kayn's teaser/lore, it said that if Rhaast wins, it will "pave the way for the destruction for all of Runeterra". This implies that Rhaast sees Kayn as his "worthy host", as he IS a spooky shadow ninja who's pretty young with a lot of skills. It would not be too hard to believe that Aatrox is prepping Tryndamere to be his next host, as they both wield very large swords with one hand. The weapon matches, so why not?

Why do people spell Kayn with an E?

I like the theory that Aatrox host was of Kayle/Morgana's race so I imagine his host would already be super duper strong. I'm not sure if he would need to change hosts.

Hmm an interesting theory. I hate to be that guy but I don't really want Tryndamere be added to the Darkin lineup.

I've always thought that Demonblade Tryndamere was the result of Aatrox taking over. However with Kayn recently being released, I think Demonblade Tryndamere is the result of him defeating Aatrox. Both DB Tryn and SA Kayn share similarities. Both have glowing blue like eyes. Both have demonic features but not too much when compared to Aatrox and Rhaast. Also their attitudes seem similar where DB Tryn embraces his rage while SA Kayn embraces the shadow. Just my two cents on the matter.
