Feedback :) and Lore Question about Zyra

Hey Riot I want to thank you for adding these Art & Story boards. I'm very interested in the creative/lore side of League of Legends. It's usually the story side that will drive me to play any particular game. League of Legends is my favorite game for a core reason: It has a rich universe with constant potential (at least after the recent new lore direction).

As for my two cents on the new lore direction: I agree it's an awesome change that we've needed. I completely understand the point of view that upset players have with the removal of the IoW; however that's the point. It gives characters/factions much more freedom and room to grow. It opens up a new and exciting realm of possibility on how the characters/factions that we love interact with each other and operate in world they live in. It's also easier to create momentum for large scale future events without the IoW in the middle of everything. So keep up the hard and good work you do for us! (even though it's not always well received).

Now a question about my favorite character: Now that Zyra is no longer in the same form as the ancient plant she was/is, is it safe and logical to say she's immortal in the elvish (lord of the rings) sort of way? Yes she's taken up a much more mortal form but considering she's not human and doesn't have blood or vital human organs that fail over time etc, can't she continue living as long as she keeps feeding and her human shaped vessel doesn't get ruined or destroyed?

I'm pooling some of this info on her from her lore, creative design thread (dev blog), and from Morello's statement "she's not human" around her reveal/release.

And IF you have time or are willing/able to share, is there anything coming in the forseeable future for Zyra? With the new lore direction will she remain independent? Will she be more involved with the affairs of other factions? Is she planning on cultivating a world for herself that she sees fit?

Anyone else feel free to voice your thoughts and opinions on her!

Im sry but i dont really understand your question. Are asking if Zyra is evil or immortal?

a)EVIL:Well i dont if Zyra is technically evil. She is a predator/plant which is trying to survive. So there is a better question, is she still eating animals, humans or cannibalisam(fruits/vegetables)?

b)If you read her role, the last part of it,it meantions that she doesnt have roots or vines to reproduce from. Her passive probably isnt canon,as in if she dies in the ˝real story˝ she will be dead(this should be answered by an RIOT-er,there is a high chance im wrong.)

Unlike many champs,Zyra was never hindert by her lore, she still has much room to grow as a character. I hope you get a red post, she is also my favorite character. :D

Well I suppose she will age differently compared to a normal human, but I doubt she is really immortal.

I mean plants themselves aren't immortal and humans aren't immortal either,so I don't see a reason why she would be immortal.

I see Zyra less like a random flower and more like a tree, so yes...she's immortal as long as she's not..."trimmed". Unless her human form hindered her life expectancy to that of the species she "merged" with, then, yeah. She'll live for as long as she's not put through the mulcher

Zyra is not human or part human. She isn't a plant in human body either. She is a plant who took the shape of a human, inspired by the woman she consumed. So basically you should look at her from biological standpoint as a plant and assume her to function as one. I guess she ages like plants and is dependant on water, nutritions etc. as plants are.

now that you mention it, if the IoW didn't exist, Zyra's reasons to migrate would probably be none O.o

Also, the south of runeterra seems to be the most unorganized place, except for bandle city in the east (Shurima is considered south? or mezo???), the Kumungu jungle needs some sort of event as well and an organization pass, not to say that they should have a city or anything but at least champions living there should recognize each others' territory if any.
