Kindred isn't the only Grim Reaper

This mostly just speculation, so bare with me here. As We all know here on the story boards, Kindred is basically death. You can either choose a quick painless death from Lamb's arrow, or a brutally hunted down and ravaged by Wolf (and maybe survive?). My question is, what does Kindred do with the souls they collect? Souls are definitely a thing in Runeterra, but from what we know Kindred just kills them and... that's it.

So, my theory is that Kindred IS the grim reaper, but not the MAIN God of Death. I heard of stories of the grim reaper of our world just being the dude who cuts the ties with of body and soul and guides the soul to the afterlife. Maybe Kindred doesn't neccesarily represent Death itself in its entirety, but just how you die, either quick and painless or painful and brutal. After that they just pass the soul off to some other guy who judges where the souls goes or something. Maybe theres another guy for reincarnation.

This mostly just speculation with not much proof, but I would to hear what you think about it![slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

Kindred is the death of Runeterra from what I remember. Which means that other worlds have their own grim reaper.

The thing is... I don't think they even collect souls.

They are still very much the spirit of death judging from your description of what you think. Let's look to the most known pantheon: Greek. Thanatos is straight out the god of death, but there's Hades as king of the underworld, the Fates (particularly the one that cuts the string of people's life deciding when and how they die), The Judges of the underworld (I think there's three in particular) that decide where the soul will go, Charon that leads souls into the underworld, the list goes on really. It still doesn't change the fact that Thanatos is straight out death personified, THE Grim Reaper. You give more or less a same description, and it still doesn't change the fact that Kindred is also straight out death. The story lamb tells to wolf occasionally in their death screen points way too heavily to the fact that they're death.

Well it might be similar to greek mythology.

In greek mythology we had for example thanatos as the god of death, charon as the ferryman of the souls and Hades as the god of the dead(there were some other death deities, but these are the most well known)

So Kindred might represent death(like thanatos),but that doesn't mean that they guide or rule over the dead(like charon and hades respectively)
