Honestly I wouldn't be happy about it,because this specific ship is basically a joke from the community and I could never see it as something else.

Pretty much every other homosexual couple would be fine if it is well written and makes sense,just not these 2.

Ezreal x Taric was the old meme that came from the joke they are the only fabulous guys in the game, hence must be gay, hence must be together.

It's stupid and reeking of inappropriate machismo, current Riot has way more taste than that.

Besides, gay people don't even look like that. They look like the actual canon gay ship which you may or may not have heard of.

It is already meme and pretty stereotyping. People don't even know how gay men are (They're THAT ignorant tbh) would think all gay men are flameboyant and feminine even more.

Not saying It cannot be a possible ship and I'm not against this ship because of flameboyant personality of Taric and slightly feminine look of Ezreal (I mean, he is pretty and he would high likely be a model in real life). In the end, there are couples like this in our world, and if I want more diversity, I should include them too, which I do, but It just would be annoying to have them as our first gay couple. Just for the reason of feeding homophobics and It is being stereotyped af. Second or third and I'm super uber ok with it.

To be fair, I went to a job interview for a company called Grassroots Campaigns, and the guy I interview with was awfully flmaboyant, wearing earrings, and wearing short shorts that made his balls stick out.

Although I don't mind gay people, there always are those flanoyant gay people. Of course, not all homosexual individuals are as such.

But by saying this I would automatically become a homophobe. Man chill out. It was a funny meme back in the day. Perhaps not the most politically correct, and perhaps not even the funniest. That, however, doesn't entitle you to attack people because of it. It's partially because people like you tried to suppress the peoples' opinions that the current USA president was elected (despite polling to lose).

I understand tbh. You just got me wrong. :P I would never say people make gay jokes would be homophobic. Homophobics are way serious and much much more harshful. I don't sign everyone with homophobic. It is rare by me. (Homophobic term is already used too much though).

Apathy mostly.

Maybe it's just where I live and interact with. But homosexuality isn't really made a big deal of. And I've seen enough media that deals with homosexual relationships that it's not even new or interesting anymore.

I would make the small comment, that it's a little stereotypical to make the first two gay men the lithe boy looking guy, and the one obsessed with gems and physical appearance.

The potential marriage candidate is kind of the whole point of having princesses, especially in the ultra-conservative societies like Demacia. It's pretty reasonable to assume that the pressure on Lux's love interests is "royal for gtfo". So it's definitely no trivial matter.

Given that, it's also reasonable to assume Lux would pull a convincing lie or 2 on that basis.

It's a fun joke depending who you ask but the only thing they have in common is they're both not traditionally masculine and they go bot lane

Taric is a Demacian who is part god thanks to the aspects of targon

Ezreal is an archaeologist from piltover, a place that's much more advanced technologically and culturally, it'd be pretty strange

However I could see then meeting, ez is an explorer after all, maybe he'd wanna see if the rumors about the gold and silver city on top of Mount targon are true

There isnt any official gay lore character at all, these are all fanmade opinions and speculations but nothing confirmed. If you are talking about Ezreal or Taric they don't even know each other lorewise.

The thing is that they are characters in the lore,not in the game.

Heck said lore isn't even accessible within the game,but on a seperate website,so it is actually possible that they can include certain things within the lore that they can't put into the game.

If Riot is afraid of middle eastern countries' rules, and accept being oriented by them, they firstly should stop sexualized characters. Actually, a lot thing is against their culture. A lot.

If It is China, China is developing on homosexuality.

Russia on the other hand. Blizzard could handle it, why not Riot too?

I really don't think It would affect at all even If it was a game interaction between champions. They can just ignore the interaction in gay against countries.

There are many ways to do it and lore is just the easiest one.

Middle eastern countries don't affect any decisions of Riot at all, they are acctualy a lot more modern themselves nowadays and there are thousands of homosexual people living there legally. The majority of the cultural changes we had in League was the edits of some splash arts because of China like hiding bones/blood, Karthus face etc.

Yes,but your arguement was basically "they have them in the lore,so there is no problem with having them in the game"

And Overwatch is a game that you have to manually buy(and it has a higher age rating in some countries),so they can get away with a lot more.
