What should Urgot become?

Eventually we will see an Urgot rework. What do you expect will change? What do you want to remain or be reimagined?

It seems to me Zaun is the most appropriate home for him; Sion shows us what little necromancy Noxus dabbles with is largely blood-themed and magical, while Urgot is much more alchemical and mechanical.

He might be rewritten as more like a messy cyborg rather than an undead; maybe Viktor will be more involved than before.

Also Urgot and Sion has some awkward overlap with their motivations right now. Maybe the Jarvan-obsessed personality and Noxian elements will be scrapped for Urgot; it seems to me they are replaceable without losing his core themes.

His visual themes are already well set; horrible, alchemical cyborg. To flesh that out he should, in my opinion, move away from his Noxian armor and ornaments to more mechanisms, hoses and life-support. His prostethics should contrast his bloated organic parts with sharp, lithe movements and complex mechanisms. He should be more like Star Trek's Borg, Treasure Planet's John Silver, Star Wars Darth Vader/General Grievous or Prey's horrible creatures.

Now, what do *you *think; do you agree, disagree, or do you have other thoughts and ideas?

I don't think you need to remove Noxus, but I would like to emphasize Zaun more.

I hope no one minds but i'm going to copy and paste a couple of posts I made in another board:

Urgot is suppose to be a monstrosity but I think his fleshi-ness was too unappealing. I didn't want to make him buff or give him a straight robot body since that would abandon the players that like him as he currently is. This seemed like a good compromise. Still a freak of science and magic but I think this makes him more clinical subject which is easier on the eyes (for me at least). With the Trundle VU and now the Sion Vu, Riot seems to be default changing ugly monsters into tough brutes. Current Urgot is the farthest thing from a brute and I wanted show an option where the core of Urgot's theme remains true.

I don't want to see big changes to Urgot. I like his lore, I like his look, I just don't want more retcons. Better animations, visuals, and new voice lines I'd be fine with, but Urgot as this weird fleshbag/mechanical spider hybrid is a pretty interesting looking design, and I don't want to see him become a generic robot or anything.

Urgot never struck me as jarvan-obsessed,I'd say he is more like Garen -obsessed,cause it was Garen who sliced him in half.

Overall I think they could keep him the way he is,there is no real need to change much about him.

Visually I'd say he could look more badass, but I think he should still look ugly and kinda disgusting,it is an important part of him.

Ranged bruiser.

At least someone cool. So that he can hang out with Sion again.

Wouldn't you guys love it if they show Urgot before his "Techmaturgization"? Then we find out he actually was a handsome-looking Noxian who got transformed by the experiments done on him (a la the Yellow Bastard from Sin City)

First and foremost he needs an ult that actually compliments his playstyle. I actually think that is the #1 reason he is the worst champion in the game. The rest of his kit is quite functional, but the ult is worthless in the context of what he actually wants to do.

^I completely agree. Urgot is much like Darth Vader without the helmet and should stay cyborg through and through.

I would like to see a rivalry with Draven as Urgot used to be a headsman who almost executes JarvanIV , but now Draven is the flashy arrogant executioner that seemingly has taken his place in Noxus.

But who knows if RITO will keep Noxus, Demacia, Zuan and all the other well established factions in new League.
