Is There a Possibility for a Galio Visual Update/Rework?

Galio/Background

I ask this because of the fact that while looking through Sion's quotes, he has four taunts specifically directed at Galio, indicating some kind of history between the two. In his current lore. however, there is no evidence of them ever meeting. (His lore still involves his creator's death, and seems very outdated.) I personally would love to know more about Galio as a character and his interactions with the world.

Galio has a huge potential as character both Lore and Gameplaywise

I see all three Galio players are in this thread, we must unite to bring our favorite gargoyle to his full potential

I'm not gonna lie, I bought Galio for URF and then after URF I was done with him, then I don't know what happened but when searching through all my mid lane champs I spotted him and remembered him and decided since it was a norm it would be okay and HOLY SHIT I LOVE GALIO (I mean, ITS SO FUNNNN) hes such a great mid, I myself don't get why he is so underloved champion wise, hes not a bad champ, in fact I consider him to be down straight strong af when i'm playing him. Eh, maybe its best this way that people don't figure out how amazing he is, I enjoy not seeing too many galios.

Relevant: Currently, I love his kit and I dont feel it needs a change as its not frustrating for others to go against or overly complicated to use. A GU really isnt needed for him, his voice is kinda...eh? I enjoy his voice but I think he could use some more quotes and with this sion potential I think he could really benefit off of some champion interactions too. Lore update is needed of course.

The connection between Galio and Sion is that they are both ancient Demacian/Noxian respectivaly. This implies they have met on the battlefield numerous times as they are both essentially immortal. As for visuals, he got particle effect updates and a texture update, but I really would like to see him reinvented and not be neon blue/yellow. I get he's demacian but it really isn't necessary for him to be that neon and ugly.

i like the mysterious hints at connections between characters, like yasuo and riven, so i dont think a lore update is necessary on galio imo

but i do think a visual update would be nice

Galio right now is still really strong. I don't see a problem with him, even against full AD teams simply because of his ultimate and heal-shield thing. He has very high damage, a strong early game where he can bully, probably one of the best mid games out of every champion, and a late game to where his heal turns him immortal and his combo can one shot squishys.

I don't know, he's a really good champion and not really outdated. He's visually good, but I think he needs to have his voice reworked. He has almost no quotes and the ones he does have are kind of random and not what you'd expect to come from him.

He just recently got his VFXs touched up and they look great. Honestly I think all of his models look fine, especially Debonair.

His gameplay is actually pretty good, don't let people fool you. He does require some coordination on your team to follow up on his ultimate, but when you get that 5 man flash ult, the feeling is great.

I think his lore could use an update/expansion though. And his joke/taunt animations could use some touching up. His taunt really doesn't match up with what he says and he doesn't even have a joke animation.

Galio's kit is outdated and disjointed. It can work in the right circumstances, and do well, but it needs updating badly.

Yes please, Galio should totally be Demacia's answer to Sion!

Honestly Galio only needs one change to make him see support play at least 10% of the time and that is this

Bulwark:

Galio shields an ally Champion, increasing their Armor and Magic Resistance, and restoring their Health each time that Champion suffers damage. Galio shields a friendly champion for 4 seconds, increasing their Armor and Magic Resistance by 30/45/60/75/90. Each time the unit suffers damage, they are healed for 25/40/55/70/85 (+30% Ability Power). (-20% healing for each consecutive hit)

If his shield could heal whoever it was attached to it would make all the difference, it wouldn't even need the Mordekaiser treatment.
