Out of the new ones this was my least favourite. He looks really bulky and not quite as monkey like. Just giving my opinion. Otherwise lovely art.
I know what you mean, but i told my self the new splash art are the champions getting older and there features have changed with age.
The face needs some work. I'm not sure what exactly, but it just looks wrong on Wukong. Maybe it's that growling expression. Wukong's current splash art has him looking more like a trickster, while this has him looking like a mad monkey holding a sick and wearing someone else's clothes.
He's bulky from his armor. My biggest problem is the hair. I feel like his hair is a darker in his model, but that may be just how high up he is and how bright it is.
The other thing, his face is a little awkward from the last one, but it looks closer to his actual model.
