I really do feel that Kindred needs a better ultimate, it makes loving him so much harder when you try to use your ultimate, only to keep the enemy alive, and to heal them. And then they just one shot you. Maybe if his ultimate only kept his allies and monsters or whatnot alive it would make us a little less likely to rage quit.

Ult can be useful, thats one of the reasons Kindred is so hard. Finding a good place and way to use your ult. And when you do land a good ult it feels great!
The ultimate doesn't even make thematic sense. They're harvesters of souls, they do not control life. They offer you the choice of a peaceful death or an agonizing death.
The issue I have with Kindred's ult is that, surprisingly, not a lot of people know how it works. I've had teammates leave my ult after I used it to save them, only to have them walk/flash out of it and die a few seconds later. It also works to my advantage though, since I often get enemies that stand outside my ult and try to kill me because they don't understand how it works.
