Could a spellbook also be a Darkin?

I think that mostly everything could be a darkin right now, as some fellow users have exposed theories of Death's dance, and etwhalt and even urgot as Darkins. In one of these topics I posted that if one item were to be a darkin, for me would be Mejai's, judging by how it is used and grows as if it were alive by feeding on the enemy. While i posted that idea like a simple thought, thinking further about it reveals a fearsome darkin. An ancient book posessed by a demonic entity that parasite powerful mages, in order to steal their magic formulas and magic itself when they pass away due to this parasite, and then, when its hostless, draw more magicians with a promise of untold magical power and enchantments just by claiming the book and reading it.

But most of the Darkins we know by now seems to be just weapons with edges, and every darkin, a physical fighter, leaving no room for a unholy sorcerer (unless it was a battle mage, but that would clash with the need of using another weapon apart from the book). So I would really like to know if a Sorcerer Darkin would be possible in the future, or the darkins are limited to warriors and pants archers, resembling the 4 Horsemen.
