@Reav3 Next Champ to receive a Splash Art Update

Yo reav3 can i ask you a question? you said awhile back that you guys would resume the splash art updates in the future? would it be the right time to tell us who's next specially that K&M is going to hit live soon?

Here are some of my personal bets with logical excuses to hit them up first after MF. I would suggest making the next champ to get the splash art update abide the rules that you've set in the past because its been a year since MF got her new splashes.

NOTE: I excluded tier 1 VGUs and possibly tier 2 too.

SPECIAL MENTION: WHERE IS THE PROMISED ICEBOX NEW HAUNTED MAOKAI SPLASH? PLEASE RELEASE IT TO MAKE MAOKAI'S SPLASHES COMPLETE HUHU

First, I think its right to make new splashes for champs that received a full VGU treatment already but does not have new splashes. Specially if you want to sell the right In-game model to its splash art. So my bets are, in order:

1. - The one and only. She needs new splashes to her dated ones, also a new base one. No need to argue with this and I know the community will agree that she needs new splashes. Even if MF is a female champ, i hope you guys would abide your rules for this champ because its been so long since MF's splash update (any news for her VO update though?).

Splash that needs an update: Base Splash, Warrior Princess, Bandit, Spectacular and Huntress needs a full splash update. Warlord's face needs tweaking though...

2. - He already received his total package VGU however he still has some dated splashes which is so inaccurate to his in-game model. He is the 2nd most deserving tbh, i'm not even bias about it cause I dont even play GP but if you're a player and you bought a skin that doesn't match/look like his splash (or 90%), would you be angry? And its smart for a gaming company to prioritize him.

Splash that needs an update: Spooky, Minuteman, Special Forces, Sailor, Toy Soldier needs a full splash update and Sultan needs tweaking to make it more realistic with the colors specially the background.

3. - Only need 2 splash updates.

Splash that needs an update: Only Dryad and Divine needs a splash overhaul.

4. - he only needs SU although i hope the VFX team updates his VFX specially his legendary alien invader skin.

Splash that needs an update: Blast Zone, Piltover Customs, Alien Invader and Snowmerdinger needs a full splash update.

5. - like soraka.

Splash that needs an update: Ionia, Samurai, Headhunter needs a full splash update and Assassin's background needs tweaking to make it realistic.

Secondly, I hope the next batch is for the base splash update for champs (2013-2009) that didn't receive a new splash yet. Although some of you would oppose to me due to some, maybe, nostalgic factors, Riot could just for example preserve the champs pose specially champs with an outdated look or background because some has some cartoony backgrounds/not-semi realistic/not glossy like diana for example. Her pose is ok but the background is so meh into days time and not riot's art standards anymore.

After that, riot can now focus on updating the half bake VU/GU/VgU champs like karthus, garen, etc. that didn't receive a splash update yet. Although some of them can be updated/VGU again in the future, so, I think its a waste of time to invest money/material in remaking them however some needs some place holders cause some looks bad.

1. - he deserves one specially that china destroyed his image. I hope that riot would apply the same mechanic to his future splashes like the ones they did with eve and graves cigar. So that we would see his beautiful face again and remove it in china. However, I hope his skins get a VFX update.

Splash that needs an update: Status of Karthus, Grim Reaper and Phantom needs a full splash update.

2. - never knew he received a VGU until i saw it in the riot support page, here i used it to make this article.

Splash that needs an update: Full Machine, Prototype and Creator (specially that urgot is outdated in the splash) needs a full splash update.

3. - needed one tbh after viktor.

Splash that needs an update: Commando, Dreadknight, Sanguine, Desert Trooper needs a full splash update and Steel Legion needs background polishing/semi-realistic look.

4. - like garen. VFX team, please visit her soon.

Splash that needs an update: Desperada, Siren and Mythic needs a full splash update.

5. and - like k&m, both brothers deserve some love and splash updates.

for nasus - Galactic, Pharaoh, Dreadknight, Riot K-9, Infernal needs a full splash update. for renekton - Bloodfury, Galactic, Outback and Rune Wars needs a full splash update.

6. - kitty kat needs more new fashion

Splash that needs an update: Mercenary, High Command, Red Card, Bilgewater and Kitty Cat needs a full splash update.

7. - arcane boi needs new enigmatic splashes.

Splash that needs an update: Runeborn, Battlecast, and Scorched Earth needs a full splash update.

Phew! that was a lot but thats it for now. If you're wondering if why i didn't put X champ in the list considering x champ received a VU/GU in the past, it is because these champs are more deserving than those other champs or they could receive an Ezreal VgU update in the future or X champ is a half-bake VgU/VGU so X champ would have another VGU in the future.
