So I went around Fiddlesticks champion page today and now I want to talk about him

Fiddlesticks | League of Legends

Mainly because I found that he was lacking even more lore than usual! For the record I checked the client and that still has his old lore; this change is only on the website.

Now I understand this is likely a bug, and considering that there's still issues with the champion pages in a variety of ways, including the background art and the presented lore (The Targonians and Shurimans haven't had their new lore added yet), something like this is understandable right now, but I find it weird that this specific problem of having the lore be just gone affects only Fiddlesticks, especially considering his lore hasn't been changed recently in any capacity.

So now I'm wondering if new Fiddlesticks lore is coming soon. Probably not because this is likely just a bug, but regardless what kind of angles do you think they could approach Fiddlesticks's character from? He's practically a blank slate so anything goes really.

Fiddle has been up for a lore update for... well, years at this point. Considering the amount of people who love him and the sheer number of new school horror/science-fiction/strange fiction writers on staff these days I'd wager something cool is coming down the pipes...

A few of us on S@20 were thinking Fiddlesticks and Nocturne could be transitioned into Shadow Isles champions. The transition wouldn't be that difficult and would be very fitting for them. Fiddlesticks could be the incarnation of a man killed along with his family by the inhabitants of the Shadow Isles, back to avenge them and Nocturne, would still be Nocturne... Nightmares and the Shadow Isles pretty much already go hand in hand. He'd just need a flashy new model and kit to match his new home.

Even if that wasn't a bug, Fiddle's (And Noc's) lore have no place in the new lore, do they? :l

The issue with Fiddlesticks' lore is that his entire identity was tied to the Institute. His existence in the game was due to a Summoner's screwup. But now he has nothing to go on.

I believe they said that they had someone working on the lore of all the people whose existence relies on the League of Legends.

This looks like a good time to re introduce the voodoo lands then. Although give it a better name obviously. But in a land where there are dark mages, i'd agree that in-animate object can move on their own with the help of dark magic. If it's still canon that, that land where a whole bunch of exile mages from Noxus is, than this is where Fiddle needs to come from.

I'd imagine that Nocturne haunted areas like Tahm Kench does. maybe even around the same area. Perhaps he could still be the result of a bad nightmare that some how came to be on the physical plane. I could see this mystery land where annie hails from as a very possible place for the two.
