Varus' Chain's of Corrupotion is his scarf. I always thought they were weird, like, "hey, why aren't they actual chains?" But then I realized.

Looking at his lolking model, the chain is 100% not his scarf. Based on lore that is no longer cannon and stuff, I'm guessing he throws out part of his pants(Pallas).
