Is there a story I missed about the new crop of star gardians?

I feel like the last time Star Guardian skins were realised there was a lot more fanfare, so I'm wondering if I missed something Riot released. I don't really follow them on any social media so maybe they posted a comic or a video somewhere and I didn't notice?

I listened to the Star Guardian Ahri VO and seems like there's a story there. From what I've gathered, Ahri's team has strayed away from whatever order the star guardians are apart of, Syndra and Soraka were originally on different teams, and whatever happened to Arhi's team could happen to Lux's. Maybe there is more or less to what's said in Arhi's VO, but either way an actual story about the team like they did last time would clear that up.
