zed in lore

I understand that zed is an antagonist for many storylines (Shen, Akali, Kennen and I think even Jhin's), but he must have some sort of angle. No one believes they themselves are the bad guy. What's zed's point of view in all of these stories? Why is he here preventing the forest to grow? Why in PROJECT is he against every other cyborg champion? I just wish he was something more than a typecast-ed bad guy. ( i got this from a yt comment so if u see this <# <3 )

I think the main question is "What does this magic mean for humans?" That is likely the starting point for understanding what Zed was doing.

Also, if he's supposed to be this DUN DUN DUN bad guy.

Can he be buffed to reflect that?

Like if he's supposed to be the Darth Vader of League, he should get commensurate buffs.

Maybe some kind of Ionian "Darth Vader" song can play every time Zed does something decisive in game.

I would consider Jhin much more of an Antagonist to Zed's story, seeing the atrocities Jhin commited deeply affected Zed and is what started the initial disagreements between zed and His master, and I believe I read a short story about Zed meeting with Shen about Jhin's release and what they should do about it, though I can't remember if that was a short story riot released or if it was non canon
