So I was wondering, I am not sure if this is retconed but is the entire J4 and Quinn relations retconned too? Like her ingame joke and journal mentions of a possible interest? I think originally it was meant to be a relationship back when the champ came out but was probably changed lore wise recently, however I got no proof for that. And what's this Shyvana stuff people bringing in? I can't find any ingame joke, lore related thing to justify shyvana interested in j4 or vice versa. Also truth be said, wouldn't Jarvan III prefer Quinn over Shyvana as his daughter in law? Since you know, Quinn at least is human and not a foreigner half dragon like Shyvana? So yeah, what was the point of the entire Quinn joke if it will not lead to a relationship?

Some riotler shipped Quinn with J4, but it was never canon. We currently don't know if Quinns Promo and Journey to Freljord are canon or not. However, J4 and Shyvana has always been more shipped and had more interaction (lore wise). J4 and Shyv are from a time then there wasn't any champion interaction between different champions. Jarvan the third probably wouldn't be happy with none of the girls, since their both not nobles. I assume he would love to see his son marry some good noble match. And I'm pretty sure the king doesn't know that Shyvana is a half-dragon. This would make a lot of things...complicated.

hmmm, but would j3 not be more favorable for quinn out of the 2 since a) she's demacian b) human, but yea I agree with you overall, the fact that she's not noble will play a big role in who he agrees to.

I'm biased and I really can't see them as shipping, however in the new lore Quinn is known for her stubborness. Ofc, she is a known hero as well, but in the eyes of the king she never will be good enough for his son. And I would also assume the king would prefer to arrange a marriage, which gives Demacia/Lightshield the best benefits.

Not necessarily - you just can't reduce a character to one trait and say 'cause of this she will be good at something. People are more complicated than this and there are always plenty things that can affect possible outcomes. Also Quinns new lore stated really clear she prefers her freedom/being outside the cities. I can't think she would enjoy sitting in a palace like a caged bird.

Eh, its kind of like offering your friend who LOVES Blueberry Pie, the option between Chocolate Cake or Vanilla Cake.

Like yeah I'm sure your friend would prefer one over the other if those are the only option presented and they're hungry, but in reality they don't want it at all, they just want blueberry pie.

Quinn & Shyv are the cake. Lux or other female elite demacians are the blueberry pie. (Also not shipping J4 & Lux, but a forced arranged marriage would be interesting, especially since Lux is a mage and nobody really knows)

i thought that lux and J4 would be possible too.NOT that i would like it myself but considering J4 and Garen are appears to be in good terms (i think they are buds) and Crownguards closely support the crown and the king (not to mention they were trying to force Fiora to a marriage too) i wouldn't be surprised if this happens!

Mhm! I agree, I wouldn't want Lux to become queen, but more so because I know she wouldn't want to. Her story is about a desire to be free, and an arranged marriage goes against that so much, and then on top of that arrange marriage coming with a boat load of responsibilities and lack of actual freedom. She wouldn't be able to use her magic as queen.

I'm satisfied that Lux is queen in her Elementalist skins lol.

But, it would add a really interesting dynamic to Lux's story if she is forced into marriage, or if she runs away from it, etc etc.

I can only agree! Lux would be the perfect match in the king's eyes, however she would never want this. Having an arranged marriage would also give J4 an interesting character arc as well.

This is actually perfect. There could be an Event of the Demacian Royal Wedding that moves Demaica's story further! I can already imagine it. Best man Garen, Demacia's King Jarvan and Queen Lux(even though elementalist is already perfect for this if only we could change the name lol), Bridesmaid Fiora and Flower Girl Sona, Party Crasher Darius and Draven, Loud Embarrassing Uncle Galio. The possibilities are endless. They could even do kind of what they did with Bilgewater when they removed Gangplank, but this time have Lux go MIA right before the wedding, only to find out later Noxus has captured her. (Party Crasher skins im telling you) Swain then comes out as the new king of Noxus and launches and assault on Demacia and he gets a Noxian King Skin to contrast J4. This starting a big event between Noxus and Demacia. We could have things like Invader Sion and Invader Kled equppied with a battering ram and a Noxian flag on his back, or War Torn Katarina and War Torn Talon who look like they just tried to 2v8 their way out of bronze. Players can choose a faction to fight for via the soon to be implemented missions system. The rift becomes a burning Demacian village or maybe the Demacian capital. After the event the faction that won will have a discount on their sides skins for a weekend. It would be so awesome.

Jeez I just need more cool lore events. Help me Riot.

I get what you are saying but this peasant girl out-performs most nobles that live in the city.

That has no meaning to J3. Quinn out performs women who aren't warriors? That's not at all surprising. As far as we can tell, Demacia's kings are warriors, not their queens, so a potential queen's skill in combat is not a factor in the decision making.

It would make more sense to even out the authority by having the warrior king, J4, and a more intellectual and "for the people" type queen. It's politics, and politics are a game.

You can't ignore everything that follows in the tradition of a monarchy just because you like Quinn. I main Quinn, but realistically she isn't a match for being future queen of Demacia.

A peasant becomes queen, what message does that send the people, the other peasants, the royalty. It would cause a lot of unnecessary controversy and problems.

The king will go find blueberry pie because fuck cake (in his opinion)

the only thing Quinn mentioned in her journal was that "he wasnt the person she thought he was" thats it. it was in no way any indication of any romantic interest. also her in-game joke was also no proof of anything romantic it could have been number of things.(something mean and disrespectful that you dont expect your brid to say about your prince.) these were mostly hypes created by eager fanfiction writers. and when you read Quinn Q&A the only thing rioters say is "might be" "could be" "we will have to see".

about J3 role in this , it requires us to know more about him, considering the current state of Demacia. i wouldnt be surprise if he is a "burn the mutants/heretics" or "she is just a peasant" kind of king. so i would say he wouldn't want either of them as queen.possibly a woman of high class from a neighboring/allied land to cement the relationship between the lands

I believe Quinn's journal is the same status as Garen x Katarina... Pending. Since they re-wrote the stories from scratch, some of the old content they previously liked could not be squeezed in immediately. It would be too much info/ development at once. So in the future we can look out for an updated version of Quinn's journal, with possible confirmation on any relations/ interests she may have in other champions/ persons, and a Garen x Katarina centric story.

Royal Wealthy Prince marries Poor Farmer Peasant Girl, A Riches to Rags, Rags to Riches story, got to admit, the story could have made a good disney movie.
