So with priority given to VGUs, where does that leave champions who only need Visual Updates?

I'm just curious.

Nothing about her look makes sense for The Sheriff of Piltover https://i.gyazo.com/49a66179453009b16ec6ae22ae72e834.png
i mean when the enemy team's screen is grey you dont have to worry about how dumb you look
How about we petition for a group VU? Riot needs to monetize their VGUs, and doing it in a big group should work well.
So, clearly, a group V/GU would be fantastic!

There are quite a few older champs that need VUs but no gameplay work, so I guess they may get something akin to what the Morgana update will probably be. A lot of visual work, a new VO, and a little gameplay work. They'll probably end up being fit into the VGU schedule as smaller projects, kinda like Aatrox was.
It leaves them ugly until they get a VGU. Last time they tried a VU without much G nobody noticed.
To be honest, pretty much every champ who could use a VU could also use a GU,even if it'd be just a small one like Tristanas(or even less than that).
is hilariously ugly too :p
but veigar already has visual update for 20$
"Visual updates don't make nearly as much money, so we don't do those anymore."
Actually, that's his old look, they did give him a texture update a few years back making him purple and removing the runes on his staff. His joke doesn't even make sense anymore... I think Veigar could look amazing ingame if they updated him to follow the splash-art's design. It's a lost opportunity to just leave him, and other champions as they are.
volibear could use a visual update with no gameplay changes
From what I know Riot no longer do just Visual Updates or so I was told by others when I made a post on boards a while back asking if Varus could get a visual in-game update.
Veigar needs more than a visual update.
I think Riot's going to amp up on Shen or Fiora level reworks maybe? Some touches to their kit and polishing up their visuals.
