"The experience we were creating as a whole, was detrimented by the ghost."

Then you're going the wrong direction and your 'experience' is the wrong design. The "ghost warrior" is KEY to Mordekaiser, and who he is in League of Legends both gameplay and lore.

Riot games, do you not know what a king is? Yeah, there are kings who valiantly fight on their own, kings who command armies and lead them to victory or to death. But by and far, Kings commanded armies from a safe distance, with loyal knights and soldiers fighting in their stead. And "loyal" doesn't mean willing, either, or that the soldiers liked the king or having any options. Mordekaiser, the Ruler of Death, down to his very NAME, is someone who carries a heavy metal weapon and turns all those he slaughters into an indomitable, undying and insurmountable force that even the Kindred fears.

The fact that you're scrapping this in addition to copypasting abilities still shows your complete lack of inspiration or at least effort. Not that I'm surprised, as this trend has existed since Neeko and will likely continue the rest of this year.

I will end this rant with something positive, however - The smaller scale gameplay updates have been fantastic and were what the player base kept telling you, that you don't need a complete visual update to sell changes or get players interested. I anxiously await Teemo, Malphite and Wukong's relaunches and many more to come, they've shown far more promise than your ... more ornate products lately. Otherwise, See y'all on Mushroom game and consider me fucking off of League of Legends

Hmm, is there a shadow isles champion who has an AoE Q that does bonus damage on hitting a single target? ... nope, don't think so.

Good thing there's also not a champion who sends a claw forward and pulls towards you on its way back. Or a juggernaut who gets free % Pen on the ability that pulls an enemy towards you. How long has the ultimate been in production? I mean, certainly not as far back as the Grand Duelist's VGU right? There definitely aren't inherent problems with an idea like that that caused it to be iceboxed for the better four years ago right?

3/10 rework, Apply yourself. Or better yet, apply yourself less and don't ruin what was great by throwing a bunch of re-used ideas together in place of what was already working. He needed a new W and a new passive. Maybe a more interesting R than just a DoT, but there's ways to do that without reusing poor ideas.
