Pyke skin really shows what Riot can do

The skin makes a good amount of sense, and would be very welcome if you didnt literally just give him a skin (Meanwhile, Kalista and Taliyah still have no skins outside of eSports and also Rek'Sai is... uh....)

But the recall, I notice, has a giant robot snake monster, and this group of Project skins is based around destruction of the skulls of other robots.

I seem to think there's a certain champion who has a mecha-future skin and carries around a giant skull ripped from some droid monster who also summons giant wobbily things. Of course you probably forgot a champion like this exists, but I mean Illinois Illaoi.

I will go back and check the blogs they posted while developing this ... okay skin but originally her tentacles were supposed to be giant robot hands that would stretch and squirm before they slam down. Something about "readability" and "not having the technology" for it resulted in these spaghetti noodles covered in kool-aid. The PROJECT: Pyke skin is really just "What if Riot actually put effort into Illaoi's Battlecast skin?"

On one hand, good job on the skins they do look pretty great and I mean this with absolute sincerity. I will likely end up buying all five of them. On the other, it just reminds me how much you do not care about 90% of your roster if they don't appeal to a certain niche of your playerbase.
